Dr Sharonne Zaks AM was honoured to present two different lectures at this conference: one to Palliative Medicine trainees at the Trainee Forum on the topic of trauma-informed care, and the second to all delegates in a Plenary session on the role of creativity in connecting with patients and providing care.
In this second presentation, amongst many other things, Dr Zaks AM was able to describe how she uses music and humour in her dental practice, especially when working with survivors of trauma, and patients with dental anxiety and phobia.
